Adipurush movie is an adoption of the Hindu epic Ramayana, Ramayana and Mahabharata are two most loved epic tales of mythology. the film is shot simultaneously Hindi and Telugu languages. the main lead of the films are Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana. Adipurush is one of the most expensive film ever made in Bollywood with a budget of 500 crores ($63 million)
Adipurush teaser review
On 2nd oct 2022 the official teaser of the much awaited film was released grandly, the teaser was launched at Ayodhya Lord Ram’s birthplace in a magnificent event.
As the teaser is out but the things are not looking good. the teaser shows Lord Ram in deep meditation underwater as demons from all the directions come swirling in, He aims his arrows to take a few out when we get first glimpse of Saif Ali Khan’s Lankesh with ice blued eyes. praying at a mountain we can also see him showing off his 10 heads to a women sitting at his feet.
He sides a demon-dragon into battle and on the other side Lord Ram is joined by his army that includes Laxman and Hanuman with the Vaanar Sena. we also see a short glimpse of Kriti Sanon as Sita as she swing in a meadow with Lord Ram smiling at her. it is followed by battle scenes between demons and the vaanar sena in Lanka.
However the teaser of Adipurush movie has shattered all the expectations surrounding the film, as the visuals were poorly crafted, while the computer graphics seems mediocre. atfer watching the teaser some audiences started hailing the Ramayana serial which were aired on television in 1990s.
actor Mukesh Khanna reacted on the teaser of Adipurush and said ”the film will not as it goes against the faith of the audience” . In a video Mukesh khanna said ” Neither does Ram look like Ram nor Hanuman look like Hanuman” . the actor further said that according to him Hindu Gods were not handsome, they were Beautiful. He also added Gods are not like Arnold, look at Ram or Krishna they are not bodybuilders, there faces are soft they have a feminine touch to their features, they do not have moustaches and beard.
VISHNU MANCHU also known as Mohan Babu, an Indian actor and producer known for his work predominantly in Telugu cinema also criticized the teaser of Adipurush movie. Vishnu manchu in a recent interview, said that he felt cheated while watching Prabhas Adipurush teaser. he said that the audience did not know that it was an animated film, Vishnu Manchu said, ”I will share my views as a Telugu guy.
we thought that since they are making Ramayana, it will be a mainstream line action movie, nobody expected it to be an animated film. so that is why everyone is disappointed. If you would have previously said that it will be an animated film then released the teaser, there would have been zero trolls. You have to prepare the audience, If you do not prepare and cheat the audience, then this is the reaction you will get. ”I felt cheated” .

Adipurush release date
Adipurush movie is now scheduled to release on June 16, 2023 in Hindi and Telugu along with dubbed versions. Earlier Prabhas shared a post on Instagram and said the film will release on 11th august 2022, the film’s teaser was released on 2nd October which is not getting good response from the audience.

Adipursh budget
This mega movie is said to be made on a budget of 500 crores. Half of the budget (250cr) reportedly to be spent on VFX. the film shooting was completed in 2021, currently the movie is in post production phase. this is the highest budget for a movie in India after Bahubali.
